New tailoring recipes discovered in Wrath Beta filesBefore Titanguard, Mongoose remained the best tanking enchant (unless stacking threat stats), which was just downright silly. It's still a good avoidance enchantment, but for your pure tanking set you can't really pass up +750 HP on your weapon, before any talents or buffs are thrown into the equation. That's pretty incredible! MMO-Champion has just discovered 3 interesting new tailoring patterns in the Wrath Beta files. Rather than things you can sell, however, these are soulbound cloak embroideries, and at least at first glance, they seem very nice indeed.
There's no word as of yet as to what's need to create these embroideries. There's something for everyone here, including amazingly enough, physical DPSers. I suppose there may be a Rogue or Warrior out there who's taken tailoring to make bags or provide spellthread or extra cloth cooldowns to their guild, and now it looks like their offbeat profession choice gets to pay off. For spellcasters, that holy damage shouldn't be resisted by too many enemies, and healers or mana-using DPSers looking for a bit more mana regeneration should enjoy the Darkglow Embroidery. Hopefully the proc rate on these beauties is enough to justify taking them over a cloak enchantment, but I imagine that if it's not, Blizzard will bump it up.
