Some blue posts

I realize some players have made some passionate and intelligent arguments for other ways in which bears can scale from gear. That isn't something we are going to do at the moment, but something we may investigate in the future. I understand that it's fun to improve tanking gear, and while we don't want it to be such a burden to get the +armor pieces, we also don't want the choices to be so meaningless that you aren't gearing for tanking at all. Let's see how things stand after these changes go live.Block is a very good stat now, and we have read a lot about the notion that "unblocked hits are the new crushing blows." We don't want the block mechanic to mean that death knights and druids (and possibly even paladins) are left behind. Again the goal is to have wow gold guide viable tank classes. That doesn't mean identical, but it also doesn't mean that druids get swapped out for some fights or relegated to permanent off-tank status.

Of late, as the release of the new expansion of world of warcraft gold launches, in the active battleground the Horde and Alliance are fight against.
On the Horde side, the first place you will see is Vengeance Landing, a site controlled by the Hand of Vengeance, a faction of the Forsaken sent to Northrend by Sylvanas for the specific purpose of overseeing the release of the Forsaken's "New Plague," which Horde players have periodically assisted with via quest lines. Some of you know where that plot thread eventually leads, but I won't spoil it for the rest of you. Just like the Argent Crusade, the Hand of Vengeance is another faction to grind up to exalted, with some decent rewards for doing so.

An Alliance quest line that starts with "The Explorer's League Outpost" will eventually take the player to Baelgun's Excavation site, where the player will encounter Loken, the final boss of Halls of Lightning and a major lore character.

For the Alliance, the first major quest line you will be involved with is "Hell Has Frozen Over," which immediately pits you against the Vyrkul that are attacking the walls of Valgarde. This is the quest that will nab you the first green items (assuming one doesn't drop off the Vyrkul you kill) wow gold will see in the expansion. Surprisingly enough, the green items you will first see are not much better than Karazhan epics. In fact, if you are completely Karazhan geared, you most likely won't be replacing your gear until you hit level 72 or 73. This is a big difference from the transition from WoW Classic to the Burning Crusade, as players with Black Wing Lair gear started replacing their epics as soon as they started doing Hellfire Peninsula with random green item drops. In Wrath, however, your epics will last you quite some time; the same goes for Arena gear for Seasons 3 and up.

One of the first quest lines you will take up as a Horde player will begin with a quest called "War is Hell," which will pit you against a group of Alliance battle ships off the coast of New Agamand, which have been attacking the Forsaken for several days. Upon completion of this quest line, you are immediately introduced to Prince Keleseth, the first boss of Utgarde Keep and see a cut scene that spills a lot of lore.

Both factions have two quests that will lead players into Utgarde. The Alliance quests are "Disarmament" and "Into Utgarde!" which ask players to steal Vrykul axes and kill the
Through quests, the Horde will gain a quest called "Brains! Brains! Brains!" and the Alliance will get "Danger! Explosives!" There're several quests and encounters in Howling Fjord that serve as previews to things you will see in other zones at higher levels. Everywhere in the Fjord you will see servants of Arthas and discussion of plot points that you won't see culminate until you reach Icecrown Glacier; Eventually Tirion Fordring will move from the Fjord to Icecrown.

final boss of Utgarde Keep, respectfully. The Horde quests are "A Score to Settle" and "Ingvar Must Die!" which have players kill the first and last bosses of the Keep, respectfully. Both quests will net a decent amount of experience and reputation, so even if the rewards aren’t quite upgrades for you, they’re still worth doing. It's funny when someone says I like the hunters and druids more. You should ask the hunters and druids. On the subject of weapons, this change should be transparent to most druids. You will end up having a few more items that you can use, but your feral staves will continue to do the damage they do now. If it makes it clearer, imagine that feral attack power is not going away as a concept, but weapon dps will instead translate to their current FAP values. This is also not license for us to never again add weapons which are optimized for druids. It should just provide more farming options in between major upgrades.

This is why we try to discourage you from commenting on which topics or posts we respond to. It's just not helpful in the rogue lockpicking. Even if I kept a running tally of every class I responded to every day to make sure everybody got gold cheap, then the problem would be that some response weren't substantive enough, or didn't address PvP (or PvE), or weren't polite enough or whatever.

Our design remains to have fewer specialized items drop so that more loot is actually valued by someone in the group. A lot of the druid itemization was a gold cheap world relic of the older system and we have been wanting to convert it over. But with any change like this, it may take some time before all of the rough edges are smoothed over. To use a tired cliche, the designers tend to take the stance that the design of WoW is a journey not a destination.

Sometimes posts get blue responses. I really wouldn't try to read between the lines on it beyond that.
On the subject of armor, the intent of the change is to give you more options in which trinkets and other jewelry you use, instead of always having to rely on the (relatively rare) bonus armor pieces. (We don't think the solution of just dropping bonus armor pieces everywhere is a great one either -- no single stat should trump the others by that much.) The change isn't intended to be cheap world warcraft gold. A lot of numbers have been thrown around in this thread. Give me some time to review them and see where any discrepancies lie.
