Obviously, the free PvP gear is gone. The prices have been fixed and the purchased items removed from players' bags as expected. They've also made wow gold on the mail issue. Many players logging in now are finding their mailboxes packed full of the things they were missing after yesterday's extremely extended maintenance. Not everyone has received theirrogue lockpicking wowgold), but it's going to take some time as Blizzard mentioned. It's just nice to see they've made progress even with all of the other problems going on.
Realms are finally starting to come online after today's emergency maintenance. Most servers seem to be up and available now, though whether that will be the case for the rest of the day remains to be seen. It looks like they actually did manage to make progress on the issues, too.
Thats what I initially thought but the fact that I received all of my Non-Combat pets when I actually hadn't lost any made me wonder how closely Blizzard tracks some of that info. Perhaps they didn't figure it was a big deal but that was A LOT of free non-combat pets I essentially got to send to an alt because I never really lost them in the first place. Also I seemed to remember Blizzard making a comment (quite a while ago) that they weren't able to effectively monitor the in-game mail system due to the size and amount of mail flowing around. Guess I'll just wait and see.
Now that they're up, let's hope they stay that way and Wrath of the Lich King has a clean, smooth launch.
Now if only i was not at work. I am not sure which day is going to be more gold rogue, today from the anticipation, or tomorrow from the exhaustion. Finally, all thegold rogue lockpicking wowgold whining on the previous threads about downtime can get back to whatever was so important in the first place. Maybe trade spam...Thank you, Blizzard, for working so hard to get stuff up and running. The hamster is running around the wheel once again.
